Have you been looking for the perfect Android tablet to go with your $300,000 sports car? Lamborghini is apparently introducing a new Android tablet with a stylish case, distinctly mediocre specs, and a price tag that matches the brand name.

According to Russian site Mail.ru, the Lamborghini L2800 tablet will sell for about 75,000 rubles, or just under $2300 US (or a little more than a shiny new MacBook Pro with a Retina display).

For that price, here’s what you get:

  • 9.7 inch, 1024 x 768 pixel display
  • 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor
  • Android 2.3 Gingerbread (Android 4.0 update is on the way)
  • 512MB of RAM
  • 4GB of storage
  • 7500mAh battery
  • 2MP front camera, 5MP rear camera

Aside from the Lamborghini-style design, the only feature I can find that comes anywhere close to justifying the high price is the “sapphire crystal” scratch protection. The rear speakers also look pretty nice.

But clearly this isn’t a tablet designed for the budget-conscious shopper.

Lamborghini also has a few gold-plated phones in the works, including a Android handset with a 3.7 inch display.
