AMD has been pushing its way into the low-power chip territory over the last few years, and this week the company introduced its lowest power processor yet. The new AMD GX-210JA is a system-on-a-chip with a TDP of 6 watts, although AMD says it actually uses closer to 3 watts during normal use.
This is part of AMD’s G-Series chip family, which means it’s aimed at the embedded market and it’s more likely to show up in digital signage, thin client systems, media players, or other devices rather than traditional PC computers.

Thanks to the low power consumption, AMD says the new processor can be used in fanless systems which rely on passive cooling while still delivering support for high-definition video and 3D accelerated graphics.
The AMD GX-210JA is an x86 chip that features a 1 GHz dual core processor and AMD RAdeon HD 8180 graphics with a clock speed of 225 MHz.

IT SUCKS TO BE AMD RIGHT NOW!!!! Hahahaha low performance and high power usage the trademarks of an AMD APU how classic.
one of these in a small formfactor dev borad would be awesome, like the gizmosphere but cheaper.
