The real funny this is that I covered that these netbooks were available about a month ago (2/15 to be exact).
I can’t wait until I’m big enough for people to notice when I report things. Nothing like seeing the big guys (Engadget, et. al) report stuff like it never existed anywhere on the web before.
I will definitely say thanks to this site because a lot of my content gets out because of Brad and I can’t say thanks enough for that.
A 64GB or 32GB SSD with this would be perfect.
Please, a 12,1″ netbook with 3,3 pounds is not light!!!
Compared to most 13 inch and larger laptops on the market, it certainly is.
I’ve taken to using the phrase “thin and light” to differentiate these
machines from both full sized laptops and from netbooks, which generally
have 10 inch or smaller screens and weigh around 3 pounds or less. If you
have a better term, let me know.
3.3lbs is light. What kind of computer have been using to not think that? Most netbooks are 2.8 – 3lbs. This has a 12 inch screen, and 6 cell battery not a 10 in screen with 3 cell battery.
You’d probably like the new Averatec netbook, only 2 hours of battery life but it’s only 2.2lbs.
There’s just no pleasing some people.
