A few months after launching a convertible notebook with an 11.6 inch display and an Intel Atom x5 processor, Onda seems to be ready to launch a new model with a 12.2 inch screen and a more powerful Atom x7 processor.
The same AliExpress store that leaked the new Teclast X3 Pro has posted listings for the new Onda Obook12 convertible laptop.
Oddly, prices seem to start at $435 on one product listing and $530 on another, even though the specs are the same… and even though there’s a note on one page saying the Obook12 will be available on AliExpress on March 29th for $370.
Anyway, the laptop is said to feature a 12.2 inch, 1920 x 1200 pixel touchscreen display with 360 degree hinges that allow you to fold the screen until it’s back to back with the keyboard, allowing you to use the notebook as a tablet.
It has an Intel Atom x7-Z8700 Cherry Trail processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a 30 Wh battery, and Windows 10 Home software. The notebook has an IPS display with 178 degree viewing angles, and it sports USB 3.0, USB 2.0, and micro USB ports, an HDMI port, and a microSD card reader.
There’s a 2MP front-facing camera, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and the tablet measures 0.63 inches thick and weighs 2.6 pounds.
