Amazon’s Echo Dot and Google’s Home Mini smart speakers are both on sale for about $10 off right now, bringing the price down to about $40, give or take a buck.
But if you’re looking for a truly entry-level smart speaker, the Eufy Genie is an Alexa-enabled model that normally sells for $35… and which is on sale for $20 today.
It might not do everything an Amazon Echo Dot does, but you can use it for hands-free interactions with the Alexa voice assistant and it’ll stream music, control smart home devices, and connect to an external speaker via a line out jack if you just want a simple way to bring voice controls to a better speaker.
Here are some of the day’s best deals.

Something the Echo ecosystem needs is the ability to pair with a Bluetooth headset as an aux input mic and as a headset as well as just a simple remote speaker. That would be great for a lot of things, including use with Amazon’s Echo Connect device for connecting a landline to the Echo network in your home for answering and making landline calls. Echo Connect is also on sale right now.
