Woot is running a deal on a refurbished Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 inch Android tablet for $259.99 + $5 shipping. The tablet features a 1 GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor, a 7 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 3G. This model is designed to work with Sprint’s network, but there’s no contract required to get the $260 price, which makes this one of the cheapest 3G capable Android tablets available.
The Galaxy Tab was released last year before Google Android 3.x Honeycomb was available and the tablet runs Android 2.2. Basically that means it can run most smartphone apps but won’t be able to handle some of the newer Android apps designed specifically for tablets, at least not out of the box. If you’re feeling adventurous you could always hack your way to Honeycomb.
