The Tronsmart Ara X5 is a small desktop computer with an Intel Atom Cherry Trail processor, Windows 10 software, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. It’s not super-powerful, but it packs enough punch to let you surf the web, watch videos, edit documents, or even play some casual games.
Geekbuying sells the Ara X5 for $150, but now that I’m done with the review unit the store sent me, it’s time for a giveaway!
I wouldn’t recommend using the Ara X5 as your only computer, but if you’re looking for an inexpensive device that you can plug into a TV to watch internet video, stream content over your home network, or perform other tasks, it’ll do.
It could also make a decent low-power, always-on PC for a home media server (with an external hard drive) or a cheap computer that you can give to your kids.
This contest is for a lightly used Ara X5 mini-computer with HDMI, Ethernet, audio, and microSD card ports. It has two USB 2.0 ports and a USB 3.0 port, dual-band 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.
Want a chance to win one? Just follow the instructions in the widget below. There are five ways to enter, and each person can submit up to five entries if you complete all five actions.
Note that I’m feeling generous this weekend, so I’ll foot the bill for global shipping on this one if the winner is outside the US.
Update: This contest has ended. Congratulations to Dave B, our randomly selected winner!
