Didn’t manage to pick up an Amazon Kindle while they were on sale ahead of Valentine’s Day? No problem. Amazon’s still running a sale on refurbished models, which means you can pick up an entry-level Kindle for $60, a Paperwhite for $100, or a Kindle Voyage for $150.
Since these are all Amazon certified refurbished devices, they come with the same 1-year limited warranty you’d get on a new model.
But if you’re looking for an even better deal on something a bit more unusual, Woot’s got you covered: the company is selling refurbished/used Kindle Paperwhite Manga eReaders with 32GB of storage for $90.
This is a unique model that launched in 2016 in Japan, offering 8 times more internal storage space than you get with a typical Kindle Paperwhite so that you have plenty of space to store graphic-heavy manga and comics.
Of course if Amazon would just release a Kindle with a microSD card reader you wouldn’t necessarily need the extra built-in storage space.
Anyway, here are some of the day’s best deals.

I never bought a Kindle because most of them are not backlit. The ones that are backlit are too expensive. I picked up a Fire 7 tablet on sale for under $50 instead.
Which is great if you want your eyes to start bugging out of your skull after reading for a few hours.. I have been waiting for a decent 13 inch e-ink tablet to come down in price for a long time mainly because i just want a nice long life writing tablet that can read books
Note that the refurb Kindles on AMZN are all “with special offers” so you’ll need to pay another $20 to get them to stop spamming you. Sadly that applies to ‘manga edition’ from Woot as well.
The B&N Nook used to have a microSD card slot. It was very useful. Don’t know about the new models.
