The ZTE V68 is a 10 inch Android tablet with a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm dual core processor, a 1280 x 800 pixel multitouch display, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage.
First introduced at Mobile World Congress in February, it looks like the V68 may be on its way to the US. The FCC has published a few documents related to the tablet.
According to the FCC listing, the tablet will support WiFi and Bluetooth as well as CDMA and LTE wireless networks.
That’s about all the useful information I could glean from the test results. But given the mobile broadband capabilities, I suspect ZTE will try to partner with US wireless carriers to distribute the V68.
The company has also started showing off a V96 tablet with a faster 1.7 GHz Qualcomm dual core processor.
Where is the7 inch ZTE “light” that jkkmobile reported on that was supposed to have the Pixel Qi screen? Did it ever make it to market? If so, what cost and where is it (just thru cell phone carriers, or other retail)?
As far as I can tell it’s never been released. As of January Pixel Qi told me that there had been delays with the original model which led to its demise and that ZTE was testing a possible new model but hasn’t committed to releasing it.
