The ZTE LivePro is a mobile hotspot that you can use to connect up to 8 devices to the internet at once using a cellular data plan. Oh yeah, and it’s got a video projector built in.

ZTE unveiled the LivePro at the Consumer Electronics Show in January, where it was called the Projector Hotspot. Now the company has announced it’s coming to America where you’ll be able to pick up the Hotspot from Sprint for $450 off contract of for $299 when you sign up for a 2-year service plan.

The LivePro should be available from Sprint starting July 11th.

The Projector Hotspot features a 5000mAh battery, a 4 inch, 800 x 480 pixel capacitive touchscreen display, and Android 4.2-based software. The device features 1GB of RAM and 4GB of built-in storage and it’s powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8930 dual-core processor.

It has a 100 lumen projector and a lamp life of 20 thousand hours. Ther’s also a built-in speaker.

You can either use the touchscreen to fire up Android apps and stream the output to an 80 to 120 inch screen or pair it with an Android phone and stream media from your mobile device.  The device supports WiFi, Bluetooth, and Sprint’s 3G and 4G LTE networks.

You can throw some media on an SD card and plug it into the projector, or use a USB storage device. There’s also an HDMI port and headphone jack on the hotspot.

While the 5000mAh battery should provide hours of run time, there’s also another advantage to the big battery: you can use the LivePro as a power bank. Just plug in your smartphone and you can charge your phone.

Sprint’s mobile data plans for the LivePro start at $34.99 per month for 3GB of data and go up to $79.99 per month for 12GB.

For some reason Sprint also occasionally refers to the project hotspot at the ZTE Smart Projector. Either way, it’ll be available exclusively in the US and exclusively from Sprint, at least for now.
