The Zotac ZBOX QTG7A4500 is an 8.3″ x 8″ x 2.5″ desktop computer that Zotac calls the “thinnest professional workstation” PC thanks to its built-in NVIDIA RTX A4500 GPU with 16GB of GDDR6 memory.

With a 45-watt Intel Core i7-11800H 8-core, 16-thread processor, the computer should also offer decent CPU performance… although it’s a bit disappointing to see a workstation PC launching in 2022 with a chip that’s more than a year old at this point when there are newer, more powerful options available.

Zotac says the ZBOX QTG7A4500 chassis has a volume of 2.65L and inside the case you’ll find two SODIMM slots for up to 64GB of DDR4-2933 or DDR4-3200 memory, a 2.5 inch drive bay, an M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 slot for solid state storage and an M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 slot for an SSD or Intel Optane memory.

Ports include:

  • 2 x HDMI 2.1
  • 2 x DisplayPort 1.4a
  • 1 x Thunderbolt 4
  • 5 x USB 3.1 Gen 2
  • 1 x 2.5 Gbps Ethernet
  • 1 x Gigabit Ethernet
  • 1 x mic input
  • 1 x audio out
  • 1 x SDXC card reader

With NVIDIA RTX A series graphics, the computer is designed more for video editing, graphic design, and 3D graphics visualization than for gaming. But with support up to four displays, (including 4K displays at up to 120 Hz or 8K, 60 Hz displays), the computer can also be used for digital signage, virtual reality, or other applications.

Zotac hasn’t announced pricing or availability yet, but I wouldn’t expect the QTG7A4500 to be cheap.
