Zotac’s next mini-desktop computer is a gaming-friendly system which Zotac calls “the most powerful mini PC.” The Zotac Magnus EN980 features an Intel Core i5 Skylake processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 graphics.
The company will show off the latest addition to its ZBOX line of small form-factor computers at the CeBIT and GDC shows later this month.
To keep the computer from overheating, Zotac uses a combination of heat fins, heat pipes, and liquid cooling solutions. This isn’t a fanless computer, but Zotac says it stays “whisper quiet.”
So the processor and graphics card aren’t the only changes from lat year’s Magnus EN970 model. The new computer also has a new case design, which looks closer to what we’d expect to see from one of Zotac’s low-power, fanless C-series mini PCs.
The system supports up to four displays, features HDMI, DisplayPort, USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 Type-C ports as well as dual Gigabit Ethernet jacks and 802.11ac WiFi.
Update: This is what the system looks like from the front and back:
