Xiaomi may be best known for offering high-quality smartphones at mid-range prices… like the new Xiaomi Mi4. But the company also produces smart TVs, WiFi routers, and other gadgets. Now Xiaomi is hopping on the fitness tracker bandwagon.

The Xiaomi Mi Band is a wearable activity tracker that sells for just $13.

The little guy is a pretty barebones device. There’s no touchscreen… in fact there’s no display at all. But the Mi Band is waterproof, gets up to 30 days of battery life, and offers a vibrating alarm feature. It can track your steps while you’re walking or running and keep track of your sleep activity.

The Mi Band syncs with your smartphone — and you can even use it to unlock your Xiaomi smartphone without entering a password.

Like most new Xiaomi products, the Mi Band will initially be available only in Xiaomi’x home country of China.
