Microsoft is adding an eBook store to Windows 10. It’s just one of the updates included in the latest preview of Windows 10 that’s now available for members of the Windows Insider Preview program.

Windows 10 Build 15014 also includes tweaks to the user interface of the operating system, new customization options, and a new way to automatically free up disk space.

Microsoft is also gathering feedback on an interesting new feature: a power slider that will make it easier for users to adjust power and performance settings from the taskbar.

Right now, the power slider is only visible for some users with select devices… and it doesn’t actually do anything yet. Microsoft wants to know what users think of the slider design. Eventually it could allow users to tweak settings to offer better performance or better battery life, depending on their needs at the moment.

The new automatic storage management service can allow your computer to delete temporary files you haven’t used within 30 days, or items that have been in your recycle bin for that long. This feature is opt-in, so you’ll have to enable it before Windows 10 starts deleting files without first letting you know.

Microsoft’s new eBook store allows you to buy and manage digital books. Once they’re downloaded, you can read them in the Microsoft Edge web browser, which added support for EPUB files a while back.

The browser also supports any DRM-free EPUB or PDF files, so you can use it to read content that’s not purchased from Microsfot.
