Chinese device makers have been cranking out tiny Windows desktop PCs for the past few years, but many of the most affordable models have the specs of a dirt cheap laptop including eMMC flash storage instead of a higher-performance SSD.

But the Vorke V1 Plus mini PC features a 10-watt Intel Celeron J3455 quad-core Apollo Lake processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 64GB solid state drive and a 2.5 inch drive bay for additional storage.

It’s available for purchase from Geekbuying for $200.

While the RAM is soldered to the motherboard, the mSATA SSD can be removed and replaced with a larger drive. And the SATA 3 connector lets you add a larger hard drive or SSD.

Other features include 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, Gigabit Ethernet, a microSD card reader, HDMI, VGA, and headset ports, and two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports.

The whole system measures about 6″ x 6″ x 1.5″ and weighs about 14 ounces.

Note that the computer is not fanless. While one of the pictures on the Geekbuying website claims that there’s “no noise” even when you put your ear close to the Vorke V1 Plus, the same image clearly shows that the system has both a fan and a heat sink.

  1. It’s nice to se 64gb of storage at this price. 32gb ain’t enough to run all of Microsoft’s bloatware.

  2. Nice, plenty of power for $200. This should be the price point of all Windows desktops that can push two monitors with multiple browser tabs and spreadsheets going. But as a home media device, its a bit high a price tag.

    1. Actually yes the advert for this has fanless splattered all over it. However it does look like my voyo v1 n3450 which was very quiet UNTIL they pushed out the spectre updates (w10), now the fan comes on far more frequently , seems the overhead is much more noticeable on these low power CPU. Overall very happy with the Voyo v1 but. sata cable extra at £10+ tho …. ripoff ..gggrrrrr

  3. if every motherboard today has DDR4 slots for RAM, why we still have this DDR3 RAM
ohh, and N4200 is much faster then Celeron J3345, and we fint it on VOYO V1 that costs 220$ and Beelink AP42 for 210$, and i know the price the price of the cpu, but does it really that expensive

    1. That depends on your needs. I just bought one of the vorke v1 plus at 189.99 after applying the 10$ coupon code. BTW, the info above is misleading, the correct one is Apollo Lake J3455

    2. I dont agree with it. Pentium N4200 is mainly used for the Mobile end with a 6w TDP and 1.10GHz clock speed, while Celeron J3455 is designed for the desktop, with a TDP skyrocketed to 10W besides a 1.5Ghz clock speed. Overall, J3455 is pretty much better than N4200 in performance.

  4. Well, it makes no noise when it is turned off, so it is silent at least some of the time.
