Vizio tablet

Vizio has yet to announce an official launch date for its upcoming Android tablet, but earlier this week it showed up at the home of NBA star Blake Robbins, as well as in a Walmart inventory screen. Now Engadget got another peek at a Walmart document showing that the tablet will start shipping on “week 26.”

Engadget suggests that this is about 6 weeks from today, but I’m not sure if that’s true. Using the same math, it would look like the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet only started shipping last week. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Vizio tablet makes an appearance sooner than that. On the other hand, the same document says the HP TouchPad will ship on week 22, which may or may not be some secret code for July 1st. Or maybe this leaked document is out of date.

  1. How about that Acer 7 inch tablet at the top of the image?  Is that the Iconia Tab A100?  With Honeycomb?

  2. simple math 52 weeks in a year ÷ 2 = 26, this would probably July 1 there abouts.
