Asus, MSI, Lenovo, Shuttle, and Acer aren’t the only companies with low power all-in-one PCs to sell you. Whew, that’s already more companies than I was expecting to type in that sentence. Anyway, today you can add ViewSonic to the list.

ViewSonic is probably best known for making monitors and LCD displays, not computers. But the company also has a few netbooks and PDAs under its belt. So the company also knows how to make low power computing devices.

The ViewSonic VPC100 has a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU and integrated GMA950 graphics, a 18.5″ 1366 x 768 pixel display, 1GB of RAM, and a 160GB hard drive. It also packs 802.11b/g WiFi as well as an Ethernet jack if you’re in a wired kind of mood. It has a 4-in-1 flash card reader and 4 USB ports.

The computer is now available for just a touch under $600 from Amazon, Newegg, and Buy.com.

  1. I don’t like the look of this all-in-one. ViewSonic needs to go back and tell their Chinese supplier to try again. The part below the screen is too wide, it looks clunky.

  2. What some of those machines need is a video INPUT so they can be used also a monitor for some more powerful PC…
