We already knew that Verizon Wireless was planning to bring a Google Android tablet to market. Now it looks like we might want to make that tablets… plural. Last week Verizon Wireless CEO Lowell McAdam said that the company would have several tablets available by the fourth quarter of 2010.
McAdam says the initial partners include Motorola, Samsung, and LG. Most of the tablets are expected to run a version of Google’s Android mobile operating system.
With Verizon getting ready to rollout its LTE 4G network soon, I also wouldn’t be shocked if we saw tablets with 4G as well as 3G capabilities.
