touch-note-gestures

The Gigabyte T1028M Touch Note is one of only a handful of netbooks available today that features a touchscreen interface that can be folded down over the keyboard allowing you to use the computer in tablet mode. Chippy from UMPC Portal has been playing with one for a while, and today he’s posted a video showing how gestures work on the touchscreen.

In a nutshell, you can tap or drag your finger across the screen as if you were using a mouse. But Gigabyte has also included drivers from eGalax that let you use configurable gestures. For example, you can drag across the screen by dragging your fingers in a pattern to launch or close a browser, open a new browser tab, launch Skype, or Windows Media Player or other programs.

You can see the gestures in action by watching the video after the break.
