The Zero Devices Z802 is a mini PC with an Allwinner A10 processor and Android 4.0 operating system. It may look like a USB thumb drive, but it basically has the guts of an Android tablet without the touchscreen — much like the similar MK802.

Now it looks like Zero Devices is planning to launch a minor update called the Zero Device Z902.

Zero Device Z902

CNX Software reports the new model will have the same 1 GHz AllWinner A10 ARM Cortex-A8 processor, Android 4.0 operating system, and 4GB of storage as the original.

But the new model has 1GB of RAM instead of 512MB, and includes 2 micro USB ports and full-sized USB port. The original had 1 full and 1 mini USB port.

The Zero Devices Z902 also features an HDMI port and 802.11b/g/n WiFi.

You can find more details and an additional picture at CNX Software.

If the new specifications sound familiar, it’s because Rikomagic announced plans to launch an MK802 II soon, with the same features. While it’s not clear whether both products come from the same factory in China, they’re pretty clearly based on similar (or identical) reference designs.
