Toshiba’s Australian division is offering one of those promotions that only works out to be a good deal if you were already planning on spending money. Here’s how it works. You pick up a Toshiba brand HDTV between December 1st and January 15th, and you can get a free Toshiba Satellite NB100 netbook by registering at the promotion home page.
Only 4000 of the netbooks are available, so the promotion is available on a first come, first served basis. And you’ll need to pick up a 37 inch, 42 inch, or 46 inch LCD TV, so don’t go thinking you can buy a tiny 19 inch set for a few hundred bucks and get a free laptop.
My guess is that Toshiba got a very tiny man to model for the promotion picture, as the Toshiba NB100 measures just 8.9″ x 7.5″ x 1.2″, has an 8.9 inch display, and is overall rather small as laptos go. Either that, or the company really sucks at Photoshop.

I assume thats a high end 37, because you can pick those up for around 700-800 euro now, which means your getting 50% of the value back in netbook form.
Did you notice the length of his arms compared to his body?
Bet he can tie his shoes without bending over.
Or checked the positions (two of them) of his elbows?
I would have to put my vote on your alternative of: “really sucks at Photoshop”.
