The Asus Eee Pad Transformer is already the cheapest 10 inch Android tablet with an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb at about $400. But Target is offering a promo that lets you pick up the tablet for just $360.

When you add the Transformer to your cart and use the promo code TCA27BAR, you can knock $40 off the price.

There are three things to keep in mind about this deal:

  1. The tablet isn’t currently in stock and Target expects it to ship in 2-4 weeks.
  2. You’ll have to pay for shipping.
  3. If there’s a Target location in your state, you’ll have to pay sales tax.

In other words, under some circumstances you might still be better off ordering the tablet from Amazon, Newegg, or another online retailer. But nobody really has significant numbers of the tablet in stock at the moment.
