Microsoft has launched new premium models of its latest tablet and first notebook. The Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 are now both available with up to 1TB of storage and up to 16GB of RAM.
Both computers feature Intel Core i7 Skylake processors.
These options don’t come cheap: a Surface Pro 4 with Core i7/16GB/1TB sells for $2,699, while a Surface Book with the same specs is priced at $3,199.
Both the Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 come with a Surface Pen for writing or drawing with 1,024 levels of pressure sensitivity. But if you want a keyboard for the Surface Pro tablet you’ll need to buy one separately.
You can still opt for cheaper models that have less memory or storage and less powerful processors. Surface Book prices start at $1,499 for a Core i5/8GB/128GB model and you can pick up a Surface Pro 4 with a Core M3 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage for $899. The Core M3 model is also the only version of the Surface Pro 4 to feature a fanless design, by the way.
