We’ve seen instructions for building a fake MacBook Mini out of an MSI Wind netbook, complete with a glowing Apple logo. Now you can do the same thing with an Asus Eee PC.

Beware, this hack is not for the faint of heart, as it requires drilling into your nettbook case. And to be honest, the whole thing looks pretty awful and scary right up until the final steps. But if you know your way around a drill, dremmel, or other hacking material, you might find the prospect of adding a custom logo to your netbook case a bit less daunting than I do.

  1. Nice insturctions, but as noted this isn’t for the faint hearted as you will need a drill, a case nibbler (or another way to cut the case) and lots of super glue!
