Samsung is reportedly working on a 12 inch tablet which could launch as soon as October. The Korea Economic Daily says Samsung’s first 12 inch tablet will probably have a high-resolution Samsung display, but the publication’s report is light on other details.
The report follows a story last month suggesting Samsung would launch a 12.2 inch tablet with a speedy processor, a high-res screen, and Google Android.

If the leaked details are accurate, the tablet could have a 2560 x 1600 pixel display and a Samsung Exynos 5 Octa processor.
It’s also expected to feature an S Pen, which means you’ll be able to write or draw on the screen using pressure-sensitive input.
Right now Samsung offers a range of Android tablets with screens ranging from about 7 to 10 inches in size, as well as Windows tablets with 11.6 inch screens. The upcoming tablet could be the company’s first 12 inch model with Android… but it’d hardly be the largest Android tablet ever released.
Toshiba offered a model with a 13 inch screen for a while, and you could make the case that some all-in-one desktop-style systems with Android like the Sony Vaio Tap 20 and Dell XPS 18 aren’t so much computer monitors as enormous Android tablets.

There is Arnova Familypad as 13.3″,1280 x 800 pixels tablet too (and some chinese tablets). But the S pen, could be a plus. Hope there will be several USB ports, like chinese one, to add keyboard and other devices and have a really light and powerfull smartbook, with s-pen features.
