Samsung has released a new version of the Update Plus software for its NC10 netbook line. I don’t happen to have a Samsung NC10 lying around, but Sammy Netbook reports that up until now the built in software manager was practically useless. When you ran the utility it never seemed to find new software updates, even if they were available on Samsung’s web site.

But now all you need to do to get the new version of Samsung Update Plus is run the old version. Once you have version 2.0 installed, run it again and you should see a short list of applications available for download inclutind a BIOS update and new versions of the network manager, webcam software, and LAN driver.

  1. can someone send me samsung update plus program I lost that program from my machine. machine is samsung N150plus. or should i download some bigger program.

  2. LAN drivers
    Easy Network Manager

were the only two updates. Had to install them one at a time.

  3. I did the Update Plus software update and then a few of the other updates…nothing special. Well, it is nice to see Samsung demonstrating ‘support’, but as for updates these were typical.

  4. Thanks. I will have to run it on my NC10 later today. If anything “special” happens I will let you all know.
