n310 unboxed

Samsung may be calling its new netbook with colorful, rubberized cases the Samsung Go in the US, but it’ll always be the N310 to me. See how it rolls off the tongue? Anyway, the N310 isn’t shipping in the US yet, but according to the folks at online retailer Newegg, it should be available next week.

And to prove it (sort of), Newegg has posted an unboxing video showing one of the first N310 units to hit US shores. Check it out after the break.

  1. I don’t know…looks sweet to me. Sadly it is rather average when it comes to power, parts after all this time. I do like all the covers for the ports and such, and that the power button is up in the case so that when closed you can’t accidentally turn it on. I like the case, I like the fit & finish, but it seems like just a pretty NC10 or N110.

I just wish they had brought it out three or four months ago. With the N510 announced and some of the second generation 10” netbooks already out by other companies, this N310 seems ‘more average’ then it should if they had just gotten it out in N. America sooner.

Exactly what I was thinking. It takes a little lagniappe (something extra) to clinch a sale. The rubberized case and neat, non-chintzy appearance might have been enough when this was first announced, but by now its innards are sort of passé.
