Samsung is holding an event in London today to unveil a new line of ATIV and Galaxy products featuring Windows 8 and Google Android.

The company’s expected to unveil a new Galaxy camera with support for interchangeable lenses, and several new laptops and tablets, among other things.

Today, Samsung is announcing two new ATIV tablets. The Samsung ATIV Q lets users access Windows and Android on the same device. It also works in a range of form factors

The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 is a Windows tablet.

The Samsung ATIV Book 9 Plus is a new premium notebook PC.

The ATIV Book 9 Lite offers a more reasonable price.

The ATIV One 5 Style is an all-in-one PC.

And the Galaxy NX is an Android-powered phone with interchangeable lenses.

The recently announced Samsung Galaxy S4 Active smartphone is not only able to survive for up to 30 minutes while submerged in water, but you can actually activate an “Aqua” mode to shoot photos while the device is underwater.

The touchscreen won’t work underwater, but Aqua mode lets you snap pictures using the volume button, and also tweaks photos to look a little better.

The Samsung Galaxy NX is the first Android-powered camera with interchangeable lenses and WiFi, 3G, and 4G LTE connectivity.

It has a 20.3MP sensor, and works with 13 different lenses offered by Samsung.

It has a 4.8 inch TFT display, a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor, and Android-based software.

While the camera is designed to appeal to advanced and professional photographers, it also supports some features you’d expect from a consumer camera including auto-focus and Samsung’s digital imaging apps for Android.

The Samsung ATIV Q is a 13.3 inch convertible which features a 3200 x 1800 pixel display. It can be used as a tablet, a laptop, or something in between thanks to a hinge which is much like the one found on the Acer Aspire R7.

As a tablet, not only can you run Windows 8 on the Ativ Q, but it also runs Android. You can switch between operating systems with the tap of a button — and you can even pin Android apps to your Windows 8 start screen to launch Android apps from within Windows.

The device has an Intel Haswell processor, Intel HD graphics, and supports up to 9 hours of battery life. It’s 13.9mm thick and weighs 1.29 kilograms and the device has a magnesium case.

By tilting the screen, you can use the ATIV Q as a tablet, as a notebook, or prop it up in stand mode.

It also works with an “S Pen,” which is Samsung’s name for a digital pen that you can use to write or draw.

Samsung is also updating its low-end Windows tablets with the ATIV Tab 3, a 10 inch tablet with an Intel Atom Clover trail processor and up to 8.5 hours of battery life and comes with a Samsung S Pen.

Unlike earlier Windows 8 tablets from Samsung, the new ATIV Tab 3 also comes with Microsoft Office 2013 Home & Student preloaded.

  1. Why have both Windows 8 and Android on the one device when no one wants Windows 8?
