The Samsung Galaxy Note is an Android device with a 5.3 inch, 1280 x 800 pixel Super AMOLED display and a stylus. It blurs the lines between a typical tablet and smartphone thanks to its unusual size and screen resolution, but you can call it a phone if you like, since it can make phone calls.
The device runs Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread and features Samsung’s S-Pen software for writing, drawing, and interacting with the screen using a stylus.
Samsung has been offering a version of the Galaxy Note in Europe for a little while, but now the company has confirmed that it’s heading to the States.
AT&T will be offering a version of the Galaxy Note with support for the network’s 4G LTE mobile broadband service soon. There’s no word on the pricing or release date yet.
