Sony is expanding its PlayStation Mobile suite to support tablets from Asus and Wikipad. The Wikipad is an upcoming tablet with built-in game controllers, while the Asus Transformer Pad tablets are already available.

The Sony PlayStation Mobile suite lets users purchase and play a number of classic PlayStation games from Sony’s back-catalog.

Asus Transformer Pad Infinity

Asus has confirmed that Transformer Pad Infinity and Eee Pad Transformer Prime will be two of the first Asus devices to gain PlayStation support.

Both tablets feature 10 inch displays, Android 4.0 software, support for USB game controllers, and HDMI output for displaying your gaming session on a TV.

Up until now, the only Android devices to support the PlayStation Mobile app have been Sony phones and tablets and a few HTC devices.

Sony says it will roll out support for Asus and Wikipad devices this fall.
