OPAD N2China based company ONN (OWEN) have announce their latest OPAD N2, a stylish 7″ tablet with resistive touch screen (800×480), Rockchip RK2816 platform with an ARM9 processor running at 600MHz, Android 2.1, Wi-Fi, one USB 2.0 port, micro-SD card slot, an external optional 3G module, accelerometer and G-sensor.

No word on pricing or availability yet but aside from the crystal white case design and navigation trackball there is nothing really to distinguish this tablet from the many others presently being produced in China. Though this is likely a small step up from the company’s previously released OPAD A1, which uses a Telechip TCC8902 800Mhz, 256 RAM, Android 2.1, and Resistive Touchscreen.

ONN (OWEN) is known for their MP3 and PMP devices, with the Rockchip RK2816 being a reference solution for media players that can handle 720p videos and supports HDMI output. So video and audio performance should be good and will likely make this a good media consumption device, but it may be hard to acquire outside of China.
