Chinese tablet maker Onda is branching out into laptops…. kind of. The Onda oBook 11 is a convertible notebook with an 11.6 inch full HD touchscreen display that you can fold back 360 degrees, allowing you to hold the notebook like a tablet.
The notebook features an Intel Atom x5 Cherry Trail processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. It’s available from AliExpress for about $250.
The Wave oBook 11 features a 1920 x 1080 pixel IPS display with wide viewing angles, and features an 8,000 mAh battery that Onda says should provide up to 7 hours of battery life.
The notebook measures about 0.6 inches thick and weighs about 2.6 pounds. It has a micro HDMI port, two USB 3.0 ports, a microSD card slot, a headphone jack, a 2MP camera, WiFi, and Bluetooth.
While it’s expected to sell go on sale for a promotional price of about $160 in China soon, the international price still isn’t all that bad for a convertible notebook with an Atom x5-Z8300 Cherry Trail processor and a full HD IPS display.

This looks amazing, 1080p touch screen for $250 ?! Just saw it on geekbuying.com. For that price it’s a steal.

A bit disapointed by the storage, 64go of emmc would be better , especially for windows. Anyway, SD card are cheap now so i think it's not not so relevant.
Also, the weigh is a bit heavy. Would not stand for long time when in tablet mode in the hands.

Definitely. It it could fit within only $100 more, that would be great. I would even be fine with 1366×768 to keep the price low for some users.

Sounds great, would buy it but Onda has a questionable reputation for quality… so maybe wait for reviews.

Why 32GB? And with Windows 10? I’d fill it up with third party software to make Windows 10 less awful before I can install any programs on it.
Why does this new phone come with Android 6! I want an Android 2.2 phone! 6 is unusable!

No, I’m all for the new features Windows 10 has, but they’re all so poorly executed, the design is awful, and the OS itself is so totally unstable and unusable that I went running back to Windows 7. And don’t even get me started on the fact it shows ads in the start menu. This is like an alpha build Microsoft decided to release to the public, ironic since I tried the old alpha builds back in October last year, which were fantastic, and couldn’t wait to switch from 7. It seemed like a new dawn for Microsoft. A stable OS, good, balanced design, and they were totally open and told everyone what was going into the OS. Now? Microsoft is forcing updates onto people, nobody has any idea what’s going into new builds, there’s even more spying crap than there was in 8 (which I’m not exactly against, since I have nothing to hide from the government, but still it’s not a very nice thing,) and driver compatibility is somehow worse now than it was in October 2014. It’s like they broke stuff on purpose.
If I didn’t know better, I would say those are pictures of the yoga 3 11. Weird how much they copied it.
