Microsoft’s latest preview build of Windows 10 includes improvements for Windows Ink, the Windows Game Bar, and support for new extensions in the Edge web browser.

But some of the coolest new features in Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14986 include the Cortana digital assistant. Now you can use your voice to change the volume, turn off a PC, or restart it without touching the computer.

And those are just a few of the new Cortana features.

You can also put the system to sleep or lock your PC with a voice command. Cortana can also control media playback in TuneIn Radio and iHeartRadio. And Cortana can now recognize music in China, allowing Chinese speakers to identify songs that are playing with by tapping the music icon.

Other changes in Windows 10 build 14986 include the ability to use the Xbox game bar in full screen mode when playing 19 more games (previously there were only 6 supported), the ability to resume Windows Ink sketches that you’d previously started, and a new Windows Defender dashboard that lets you see information about security scans at a glance.

You can find a full list of updates at the Windows Experience blog.
