Nokia is launching a new smartphone that’s a bit like a smaller version of the Lumia 1520. The Nokia Lumia Icon has the same high-res display, speedy processor, and camera, but thanks to the 5 inch display it’s a big more pocket-sized than its 6-inch sibling.
Verizon will start offering the Nokia Lumia Icon February 20th for $199 and up.
The handset has a 1920 x 1080 pixel display, a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, and a 20MP camera with a Zeiss lens.
It has a 2420 mAh battery, which is a bit smaller than the battery for the 6 inch model, but hopefully the smaller display means you won’t need a big battery to get decent run time.
The phone runs Windows Phone 8 software, works on Verizon’s 4G LTE network, and supports 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and Qi wireless charging.
If you want to buy one without a 2-year contract, it’ll run about $550.
