vaio pcg-1r2l

The FCC has posted some information about an upcoming refresh of the Sony Vaio P mini-laptop. The Vaio PCG-1R2L will have 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, and be the same size as the current Vaio P. And that’s about all we can learn from the FCC filing.

But the news comes on the heels of rumors that Sony would be putting out a new model with a faster boot time, and possibly a faster processor this fall. The confidentiality on the FCC document is set to expire in October, so it’s possible that the new model could be released, or at least announced in a few months.
