Interesting things happens when you shrink the size of computers. Like you can design elegant furniture that offers both a comfortable chair and a desktop surface for using a computer without taking up much space. Designer Martin Ballendat‘s Netbook Lounge Chair fits the bill.

Now honestly, while I can see buying a carrying case, travel mouse, or other littler accessories, I’m not sure it’s worth buying furniture designed specifically for netbooks. But if you don’t have room for a full sized desk and don’t need to lay out papers, a monitor, or other accessories, this chair could serve a purpose. Or maybe it’s just supposed to be interesting to look at. I can never tell when it comes to designer stuff.

  1. The “arm” is on the wrong side…Nowhere to plant your mouse, unless they will be offering it in “leftie” and “rightie” models.
