The NEC LaVie Light 530 is one of those netbooks that you just know isn’t going to be released in the US anytime soon. It might not even hit Europe. But if you’ve been lusting after this relatively mundane looking mini-laptop since it was announced earlier this year, you might want to check out the video after the break, courtesy of our friends at Netbook

The latest version of NEC’s LaVie Light netbook does have a few features that help it stand out from the crowd. It ships with WiMAX 4G wireless broadband capabilities. And it comes in a range of colors including black, white, red, and green. The unit featured in the video below has a two-tone green and black design which I kind of dig.

There’s also a mini-USB port in addition to 3 full sized USB ports, a card reader, and VGA output.

The netbook is available with a 10.1 inch 1024 x 600 or 1366 x 768 pixel display and a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 or 1.83GHz Intel Atom N470 processor.
