The Muzee Cloudia is a portable media device with a 7 inch 800 x 480 pixel LCD display. It runs Google Android and connects to the internet over a WiFi or Ethernet connection to deliver photos, music, videos, news, or other content. But the Muzee Cloudia isn’t an Android tablet in the traditional sense, because it doesn’t have a touchscreen.

Instead you use a remote control to interact with the device and navigate Muzee’s software interface which runs on top of Google Android 2.2 Froyo. There are also channel and volume buttons on the side of the device, along with the usual Android home, back, and menu buttons. There are also some unusual navigation buttons for up/down, left/right, and OK functions.

Muzee has been showing off the Cloudia at trade shows for the past few months, and you can find a few videos below, thanks to the folks at Akihabara News and CarryPad. I’ve also thrown in the official demo video for good measure.

I haven’t heard anything about a US release date or price, but today the Cloudia showed up at the FCC website, which is a pretty good indication that the company is hoping to sell the product in the States.

The Cloudia features an 800 MHz processor, a 1500mAh battery, 10/100MB Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, a USB 2.0 port, stereo speakers, a headphone jack, and a power adapter. It measures 8.3″ x 5.7″ x 1.3″ and weighs about 1.1 pounds.
