You know what happens when PCs get smaller and smaller? It gets easier to cram a complete PC into other products that were once thought of as peripherals. Case in point: MSI’s Projector PC.
Basically, this concept machine takes a low power computer and shoves it inside a somewhat standard looking projector. This lets you project the PC display on any white screen or even a ceiling. Instead of carrying a laptop and projector with you to a meeting, you could just carry the Projector PC.
The system can handle up to 60 inches of HD video playback.
According to Gizmodo, the PC packs an Atom processor and NVIDIA ION graphics. It also has HDMI output, Ethernet, 4 USB ports, mic and headphone jacks, and a DVD player. The Projector PC is only a concept for now and may never make it to market.

I think it would do well if they make it. It could have an USB wirless keyboard that one can connect flash drives into so one could upload files and data into the computer/projector without having to connect a laptop to it.
The box seems to have been inspired by the space ships used in the War Of The Worlds movie (not one with Tom Cruise but the earlier one). 🙂
Brilliant idea! Do you known how many corporate conference rooms could use something like that? It means 1 less computer to maintain.
Let’s see, you’d need a wireless dongle for a keyboard/mouse, and a hard ethernet line – or a wireless card in the projector to connect to your network. Also, since these things are usually up high – some way to connect to one with a laptop – Hey, didn’t INTEL just announce some “connect to TV” thing too?…
