I’ve only had good experiences with Buy.com over the years, as well.
I can’t say that I have had any problems with Buy.com.. I have gotten my MSi Wind, my 2GB ram upgrade, a wifi card, a new monitor all in the last few months all from buy.com, because everytime I look for something they always had the lowest price and usually have $5 two day shipping.. I also used Paypal and its very straight forward. Always got them on time or early.

The real trick is getting buy.com to honor any mail in rebate or, in some instances, to actually ship what they advertise as being in stock. On those occasions when they do ship, it’s usually very late and sometimes not what was ordered. Doing business with this company can be hazardous to your bank account. Check their merchant ratings and you’ll go somewhere else to spend your money, We will not deal with buy.com in the future.
