Want an MSI Wind netbook, but don’t want to confine yourself to a device with a skimpy 80GB hard drive and 1GB of RAM? MSI has apparently added a “luxury” edition of the Wind laptop to its lineup.

German retailer Notebook Shop is taking orders for the upgraded netbook with a 160GB hard drive, a 6 cell battery, and up to 2GB of RAM.

Luxury does come at a price though. This version of the MSI Wind U100 will set you back €469, or about $660 US. The Notebook Shop does offer a number of customization options including faster and higher capacity hard drives.
