MSI has released a BIOS update that addresses a few minor issues including a fix affecting the S4 sleep mode. Members of the MSI Wind forums report upgrading the BIOS to version 1.0A doesn’t seem to cause any problems on systems running Windows XP — or systems running OS X.

im using ubuntu 8.10… my usb mouse suddenly didn’t work after bios update
Working nicely on my U100 running Linux. It may have solved my “sudden shutdown syndrome” with this new battery, however it could also just be more conditioning of the battery means the system plays nicer.
