Chinese phone maker Meizu’s latest phone features a big screen, a big battery, and… reasonably big specs, I suppose.
The Meizu M3 Max has the kind of hardware we’ve come to expect from upper mid-range smartphones from Chinese companies this summer, including a MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It also has a fingerprint sensor.
But the $254Â smartphone is still a step down from flagship-class phones like the Meizu MX6, which has a more powerful processor and more memory, among other things.
The Meizu M3 Max has a 6 inch, 1920 x 1080 pixel IPS display, a 4,100 mAh batter, a 13MP rear camera, and a 5MP front-facing camera.
It has a USB Type-C port and fast charging thanks to a 24 watt power adapter.
The phone as dual SIM card slots and support for microSD cards up to 128GB. The Meizu M3 Max comes in gold, silver, pink, and grey colors and it’s expected to go on sale in China next week for 1,699 yuan ($254).
