Samsung is holding an event on January 14 to officially launch its Galaxy S21 smartphone lineup. But images and details have been leaking for some time.
Now Evan Blass has released a high-res picture showing the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G from multiple angles and without any watermarks.
But are new phones a hot commodity anymore? Shipments of new phones fell early last year due to the pandemic, and while things picked up again later in the year, the growth hasn’t been all that impressive. You know what is a growth area though? Used and refurbished phones. IDC reports that shipments of those were up by 9-percent in 2020.

The Win 3 features an Intel Tiger Lake processor and a 5.5 inch touchscreen display between two game controllers, making this Windows PC look a bit like a Nintendo Switch. But the screen also slides up to reveal a capacitive touch keyboard for text input. - There’s a new Manjaro ARM Lomiri dev build for the PinePhone [LinuxSmartphones]
The Lomiri user interface, formerly known as Unity, was initially developed by Canonical for Ubuntu Touch back when the company was still developing a phone & tablet version of its operating system. The UBPorts team picked up where Canonical left off, and now Lomiri is available for Manjaro as well as Ubuntu Touch.Â

That Archos X67 looks like an awesome phone!
Rugged, like withstanding 2 metre drops, with IP69K waterproofing. It also has other neat features. The Dimensity-800 processor is pretty good too, about equal to Kirin 980, hence much faster than the best QSD 768G midrange, but slower than the fastest QSD 888 flagship. The screen and cameras are pretty decent too. Sure there is no User Removable Battery, but 8000mAh is plenty. The only things it really lacks are microSD expansion, IrDa-blaster, and no 3.5mm headphone jack. The asking price of $600 GBP aren’t outrageous.
Though not sure how people could stand it’s chunky 17mm thickness (!!!), or its hefty 380g weight.
