This summer LEGO and Nintendo began taking pre-orders for a 421-piece LEGO Game Boy kit that lets you assemble an accurate looking model of the classic handheld game console. The only thing missing? Working parts.
But one hardware hacker has been working on a custom mainboard, display, and other components that transforms a LEGO Game Boy from a model into a playable game system. It’s still a work in progress, but once complete the developer has said that she will offer a tutorial (and may sell kits) for folks that want to upgrade their own LEGO kits.

Here’s a roundup of recent tech news from around the web.
The official LEGO Game Boy Kit is a 421-piece model that lets you build a replica of the classic game console. Officially it’s just a model and doesn’t play games. One hardware hacker is making it playable though, and may eventually sell mod kits. www.theverge.com/news/790093/…

The Pi value proposition fell off with the 4, it is only getting worse.
Google’s just trying to piss everyone all off at once, huh?
The only rules that really matter are these: what an oligarch can do, and what a oligarch can’t do.
Pretty sure they have to do it due to various government regulations, especially in E, so they are able to provide (useless) information required by the law in case of fraud or some ‘illegal’ activities (including censorship circumvention, depending on the country). They already added identity verification and made seller real address visible for store Apps, same as Apple. It’s definitely not enough to prevent fraud, since ID can be fake, but laws consider it sufficient. If you want to argue, argue with goverments and legislators.
