Motorola’s doing it. LG’s doing it. So is Samsung… reportedly. All three companies are apparently working on smartwatches featuring round watch faces.
Smartwatches aren’t exactly common these days, but if you have seen one in the wild, odds are that it’s had a square or rectangular design. Motorola’s upcoming Moto 360 with a round face has generated a lot of buzz, and either that’s caught Samsung’s attention… or the company which already has a wide range of smart wearables had been planning to round out its lineup all along.
Either way, it sounds like it might be a few months before we see Samsung’s new round smartwatch.
