Muzei is a Live Wallpaper app for Android designed to show artwork on your phone or tablet’s desktop. If you use the default settings the art will change every day, showing you some of the great works of famous artists.

But you can also use Muzei to grab photos from your phone or other sources — and because developer Roman Nurik created an API to let anyone create their own sources of artwork, a search for Muzei on the Play Store brings up a bunch of apps that let you view pictures from other sources.

One of my favorites is an app that automatically detects music playing on your device and grabs album art so that your wallpaper changes to match your music.
