Almost every major consumer electronics company has a smartwatch, fitness tracker, or other wearable device to sell you. But one company isn’t quite ready to jump into wearables just yet.

HTC is holding an event to launch new products this week, but the company’s expected to focus on smartphones and cameras, not smartwatches or smart eyeglasses.

One reply on “Lilbits (10-07-2014): No wearables from HTC this year”

  1. That sounds like a good thing to me.

HTC has consistently made the best phones for a few years now. The more they try to jump on the latest flavors-of-the-month, the less likely it is that their level of quality will continue.

But I’m pretty happy with my HTC One/Pebble combo, so I’m probably biased. 🙂
