Our faces are round, so why are the phone we hold up to our ears and mouth flat? Maybe they won’t be for long — LG’s upcoming G Flex phone had a gentle curve which could help it better fit your face (or your butt if you stick it in your back pocket).

Images of the phone first leaked earlier this month, but now the folks at Telefe in Argentina have gotten some actual hands-on time with the phone, providing more images and other details.

LG G Flex

The phone is said to have a 6 inch curved display, buttons on the back (like those on the LG G2), and a 13MP camera.

The display is a curved OLED display, and the fact that the whole phone  curves a bit makes me wonder whether the battery is flexible, or just oddly shaped.

LG is expected to unveil the phone in South Korea in November. There’s no word on whether it’ll be available in other countries anytime soon.
