LG is getting ready to unleash its X120 netbook on the world. Customers in Japan should be able to get their hands on one by the end of March, with a wider release coming in April. It’s not clear whether this model will be available in the US right away, but LG has said that unlike its earlier netbooks, the X120 will be sold in the US.
The LG X120 netbook sports a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU, a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 576 pixel display, a 160GB hard drive, and packs an HSPA modem in addition to the usual WiFi connectivity. It ships with either a 3 or 6 cell battery and weighs about 2.6 pounds.

Unless there is something about this unit that really stands out from other netbooks I would pass. Not a fan of Lucky Goldstar. Maybe I just don’t like their history…
That’s wierd.. I read nothing referring to Japan in the article, but I hope that’s true!
